Qavach® is a comprehensive health screening program. It is designed to build a 360° view of your child's health, so that your pediatrician can make the best decisions for your child.
The Qavach® program is designed as an annual screening program. Thus, it is designed for your child to be screened every year from 2 years up to 5 years of age.
Qavach® is useful even as a stand-alone assessment since it can reveal risk or presence of conditions. But it becomes invaluable when done longitudinally every year, Thats's because it can reveal progression and it can also demonstrate if the strategies are working. For example, longitudinal dental screening can reveal a worsening condition of caries and it can also reveal if proper brushing is able to control progression or if some other strategies are needed.
Yes, it is still relevant. Even though it is preferable to start at 2 years, if the first screening happens only at 3 or 4 or 5 years, then that screening will be treated as the baseline health profile.
No. While the high-level areas are the same, the specifics will be age-appropriate and hence it can be slightly different. For example, while "Developmental Milestones" will be assessed for all age-groups, the milestones themselves can be different as it will be specific to each age-group. Also, the diagnostic methods can be different as it will also be appropriate to each age-group.
The screening program will be done by a composite team of qualified and skilled medical staff.
For specific areas, specialists will be reviewing the diagnostic samples and information, and will be providing their interpretations and recommendations. But specialists may not be physically present at the point of screening.
Using your credentials (username and password), you will be able to access reports online. Please refer to the terms of service for further details.
Qavach® adopts objective screening methods and processes. Also, it attempts to rely primarily on diagnostics, and wherever possible it chooses digital alternatives as opposed to manual methods. Having said this, Qavach® remains in the realm of screening and provides a 360 view for a clinician to make a diagnosis and take decisions.
You will be able to share the report to a pediatrician for review and further action. Your report will have as-is information on various parameters. It will also contain information on your child's risk-propensity for various health conditions, so that preventive action can be planned and undertaken. It will additionally have recommendations from specialists. Your pediatrician will be able to interpret the report, make their diagnosis and guide you on appropriate action for your child.
